Account & Data Deletion
We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to delete your account and all associated data.
How to Delete Your Account
- 1Open the Sesa app on your device.
- 2Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
- 3Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- 4Scroll down to the Account section.
- 5Tap "Delete Account."
- 6Read the information about what will be deleted.
- 7Confirm your decision by tapping "Yes, Delete My Account."
- 8Your account and data will be permanently deleted.
Note About Active Swaps
If you have any active or pending swaps, please complete or cancel them before deleting your account. Deleting your account while swaps are in progress may affect other users who are expecting to complete an exchange with you.
Data That Is Permanently Deleted
The following data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
- All your product listings and associated images
- Your chat and messaging history
- Your swap history and transaction records
- Your saved favorites and preferences
- Push notification subscriptions
Data That May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, we may retain limited data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. This may include anonymized usage analytics, records needed for legal compliance, and information related to fraud prevention. Any retained data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
